Bardo secures additional funding with a EUR 3 million investment from Cherry Ventures.
Europe’s leading early-stage venture capital firm, Cherry Ventures, has invested EUR 3 million in Bardo to finance the expansion of the team and advance the build of Bardo’s disruptive carbon intelligence platform.
“We are really excited to partner with Cherry, as they are clearly founders-first and have an unrivalled track record of taking start-ups from pre-seed to Series A, and beyond. Cherry will give us invaluable support on our journey and provide access to a German and pan-European customer base, as well as follow-on investors globally”, says Carl-Johan Westring, Co-founder of Bardo.
Cherry joins a cap table with one of the world’s largest industrial impact scale-ups, Stegra, and many prominent Nordic angel investors, who all believe in Bardo’s vision to help the world steer towards net zero.
“We’re backing Bardo as their exceptional team is spearheading a disruptive product and creating a new category - Carbon Intelligence”, says Sophia Bendz, General Partner at Cherry Ventures.
